Week 9 - Reflection

 Reflection Questions:

1. Do you feel your team has worked well together? How so?  Yes, because we are all mates so it made us do it work faster, because mates are better at working together.

2. What have you done to get over difficulties or challenges?  The thing that is difficultie for me is sewing, because most of our product is sewing, so I had to do the stuff thats not sewing, like get the elastic bands what right size, and get the template of the mask ready for them to sew.

3. How has your teacher helped you to become business prepared for market day? She printed the posters for us, help fix the machines and helped us to keep focus on task, and getting our work done.

1. List all the things you need to bring with you for market day next Friday. 1) Face Mask, Posters, head bands and outfits.

Week 8 - Reflection

 How do you think you have used your time today? Good because we got a lot done today, We finished our sewing and now we need to put the elastic bands on but insteed 3 block we are gonna go and start with the coasters.

What has been your biggest achievement today? Finishing the sewing, because that took a long time.

Name someone in your class (from another group) who you think is making a cool product. What is their product and why do you think it will sell. Connor and Angus, they are making christmas trees out of driftwood from the beach, they had made about 7 so far, and like 3 or 4 big one and some small ones, and they are so not done yet.

What do you need to do to make sure you will be on task for next week? Make a plan what we are going to do, so 3 block this class we are gonna start on the coaster.

Week 7 - Reflection

How long does my product take to make? We have not timed it yet so we dont know, we have not timed it cause we do it in lots so it takes even longer but we make more in total. We think if we do one by itself it could take about 3 minutes.

How many parts to my product? There are 5 diffenent parts, 1) first we cut out our shape into a circle, 2) cut it to the right pieces, 3) sew one side, 4) get another one that is sewed on one side too then put on in the other and sew, 5) then you have the base of the mask and you add the elastic bands. So there its 5 parts

How long does each piece take? the fablic takes around 1 minute to cut it out,  30 seconds to sew one half of it, then after to close it up another 30 sewing, then about 40 seconds putting the elastic bands on.

How have I ensured quality in the finished of my product? By cutting off the lose sewing threads so it does not cut them. By making the elastic bands not tight so it does not come off and hurt them.

How will my market stall look? We will have a table in front of us with the prices and some display masks, but the rest of them will be behide us in a box or something to no one steals the masks. Our roles will be Aiden getting the mask for the people me ask what they want and Jordan getting the money the giving them money if they give us too much.

Something went well and did not go well? The thing that went well is making proguess we did a lot of finishing the sewing, now we are onto putting the elastic bands on then we are done. The bad thing that bad is I didn't know how to sew so I really didnt do too much, but I did to some things like managing whats happening and tell them what role to do.

Week 4 - Reflection

 

Today we went into the sewing room,we worked on the face mask on the second block. So far we has cut out the tempete of the masks.

1. What went well today for you and your team? Something that went well today was cutting out the tempete and ironing it so it's smooth and nice and the material we used is fabrick.

2. Think about your teamwork, and your group’s product idea What was difficult?  Why do you think that was? Our teamwork when really well today so at the begging of making our face we all cut some tempetes out then we took turns ironing the fabrick.

3. What do you need to work on in preparation for the PREP lessons next week? We don't really need plan anything besides planing what we will do next week like who does what.

Week 3

 What went well today for you and your team today? Think about your teamwork, and your group's product idea.  Something that went well today was planning everything and planning what days we are gonna do things, and to find that our we made a timeline.

What was difficult? Why do you think that was? Finding where some things came from like for example the string and felt.

What are three business terms you learnt today? Investors is one business term I learnt today. 

what do you need to work on in preparation for the PREP lessons next week?  We need to work on getting more organize.

Week 2 reflection

1) Today that went well was the teammate working, because we all took place aiden finished our last work from last friday and made business cards, I made the doc that shows what resources we need where we buy them and how much they are. And Jorden just helped us with it.

2) Nothing did we not did work and did it good so we just need to keep it up.

4) Making a mask, next friday we will make our masks then the next friday we will make the flax bags then the next week we will plan out the wood then go to the workshop and start making the coasters.

Week 1 reflection

 
What went well today for you and your team?  Think about your teamwork, and your group’s product idea. The thing that went well is the work on the proposal because we assigned each other for each one so we could do it faster and so we would not have as much work to do.

What was difficult?  Why do you think that was? Finding the answer to the questions, and to play games on my computer well I wait for my partners to finish there part.

What are three new business terms you learnt today? We did not do any today to I did not know any.

What do you need to work on in preparation for the PREP lessons next week? Staying on task because sometimes I went on games but know I am going to try not to go on my games anymore.
